Around the world there are a few signature properties that all others look at with a certain twinge of jealousy. Taprobane Island is one of those. Lets face it, why book a villa when you can have the whole island. |
| |
Taprobane Island is not big - it takes about 20 minutes to swim around, nor is it that far off shore - about 50 yards, and you have to wade out to it. But it is an island. A gloriously eccentric exotic one with an octagonal 5 bedroom suite house and fabulous uninterrupted views towards the south pole. |
| |
Each bedroom has a private area so whilst having a party is the obvious way forward there is plenty of opportunity for some private down time. |
| |
There are 3 bedrooms - 2 doubles and 1 small twin - in the main house with the remaining two on a slightly lower level. The sound of waves gently lapping against the rocky foundations of the island can be heard from them all. |
| |
The infiniti pool remains gloriously in the shade all day providing a welcome refresher after lunch, or any other time that the mood grabs you. As you would expect the island has staff..several of them to get whatever it is you are after. So relax and enjoy being king and queen of your own island in paradise. |
