A fabulous villa located about 8km from the historic fort town of Galle that can be taken by both small groups and large. In total there are 4 double suites all with inside and outside bathrooms and one children's room with 8 bunk beds. |

The design of the house essentially allows for half of it to be closed off so even though it is undoubtedly big it does not swamp parties of 4 or 6. In fact coming with a small group is wonderful as there are so many options on where to sun bathe. |

Mind you sunbathing is one thing only some people love to do on a beach holiday whereas having fun is for everyone. With its large pool and garden, beach seating, beach pavilion, pool pavilion stuffed with toys and games, fully equipped gym, massage room, upstairs sitting room with spectacular views out to sea, formal dining table, WiFi, DVD player in every room and a movie theatre with surround sound - this house is up for it. |

The upstairs sitting room deserves a special mention as it is beautifully decorated with paintings by local artists, antique furniture and an ecclectic mix of modern and ancient object d'art that is as refreshing as it is unexpected in a beach home. Along with the surround sound there is a also a card table for die hard bridge and poker players.
It is also a lovely spot for dinner in the french windows looking out over the ocean. Just ask the staff to set it up. |

The staff team is led by an English speaking chef who as well as satisfying you with his culinary delights likes to give an interesting insight to what life is really like in this paradise isle. He is fun to accompany to the fish market for instance where his negotiating technique has to be seen.
His team consists of a Butler, two stewards and two room girls plus a charming, always smiling gardner. |
