Welcome to luxurious paradise aka Robinson Crusoe. Really, if you have ever gazed at images of tasteful properties on long, wide, palm fringed beaches with a longing to be there, pack your bags and come to Aaloka. A get away from stress to reality. Holidays are, after all, what life is all about.   

It is barefoot luxury at its best. The house is tastefully finished and the owners have catered to almost every need. When they read this they will call me and ask 'what have we left out?'. They have taken great care...and it shows. The two master suites are air conditioned and have large beds and french style windows that look out to sea. The inside outside bathrooms are lovely and large enough to enjoy. I tend to judge a villa by its bathrooms and Aaloka is up there with the best.     

The kids room has 6 bunk beds as well as TV / DVD - the kids will love you for ever for having booked a villa with DVD in their bedroom - and is also air conditioned and ensuite. There is also an air con sitting room with Sat TV.

The house is staffed with cook and house staff. The covered terrace with open plan sitting and dining area overlooks the garden with badminton net / handball, a trampoline and the pool. Then there is the beach. Long, wide, soft sand and deserted.

The location of the villa is south on kahanda modera beach near the town of Ranna about 15km from Tangalla. It is close to Yala Safari park containing the largest concentration of leopard in the world as well as many elephant, crocs, bear and birds.

The villa aaloka is a dream villa. We felt at home immediately thanks to the warm and welcoming staff. Facilities and the house are just amazing.
We enjoyed the calm and the peace of the surrounding environment: the deserted beach, the sound of the sea and the birds waking you up. Our kids just loved it ( we have 2 boys 10 and 7) and a little girl aged 2). It is a prefect holiday villa forn2 families.
The food provided was excellent, nothing but good to report and I will certainly spread the word around my friends.
