Villas like this are not only hard to find, they are heartbreaking to leave. This is a one bedroom villa so relaxing, so spoiling and so romantic that once here you will not venture out.

The ensuite bedroom, with its huge bed, has air con and over head fan and the looks across the garden and out to sea.

In addition to the bedroom, there is an open plan sitting room that adjoins the hexagonal kitchen and then a wide verandha that has built in comfortable seating as well as a dining table, facing the ocean.

There are two sun loungers that compete for your attention with a fabulous double hammock swing.

In the corner of the garden overlooking the beach the thatched pavilion invites you to relax in a hot afternoon and drift off to the sound of the waves.

All this would be enough, way way enough but there is more. The lovely chef / house steward will anticipate your every whim and you will be hard pressed to even think about what you want, let alone actually get it yourself. This is a lovely romantic one bedroom beach retreat.

We had a fantastic stay at Kikili Beach. Kumara was a wonderful host; the meals he prepared were perfect additions to the beautiful scenery and weather. We were traveling with our 3 month old baby, and she loved it when he would hold her and talk to her about life in Sri Lanka! The house itself is a perfect beach house, comfy furniture and we spent most of our days on the ambalamba (I hope I spelled that right), enjoying the view of the sea. We hope to come back to Sri Lanka and would most certainly choose to stay at Kikili Beach again.

We had a wonderful time in Kikili. The villa was spotless and beautifully decorated. We loved relaxing in the many seating areas outside, and enjoyed taking full advantage of the pool. We were looked after extremely well by Kumara the house steward,and the meal he cooked for us was excellent. I would definitely recommend Kikili to friends.
