Enter the house from a small courtyard, through the large doors and into a large open plan sitting room and kitchen that looks out past the columns, over the pool and manicured lawn, onto the white sandy beach and blue ocean.

Whilst the now infamous Galle road is just behind you and there are neighbours it is the view in front that captivates. There are two bedrooms, accessed by the outdoor stairs, that are south facing and sit side by side with a large balcony terrace in front affording some private reading and sun bathing space. The views from here are incredible and at night the stars are spectacular. But it is for the beach that a beach villa is chosen and this one will not disappoint.

Whilst the sea anywhere demands respect and a 'safety first' philosophy there is seasonally safe swimming in the warm ocean a few steps from the beach gate and hours and hours of fun to be had with sand building palaces and castles.   

The house comes with a cook steward and cleaner so...sit back relax and enjoy this wonderful escape.

This beautiful beach fronted villa was a real haven for rest and relaxation (even with two kids under 3!) We were extremely well looked after by the wonderful house staff and the catering was of the highest standard. A villa I would and have recommended to anyone planning a trip to the Galle coast.

My husband and I stayed at Sisindu for five days in December and loved it. The decor was breathtaking; the facilities were incredibly comfortable; and the staff bent over backwards to accommodate us in an unobtrusive manner. This house really is on one of the best stretches of beach in the region and there is a fair amount to do locally. Having the turtle sanctuary next door was a great perk too. The food we were served while we were there was mouthwatering and incorporated a wide range of recipes. We would definitely recommend Sisindu - even though we'd rather keep such a great find to ourselves!
