This newly refurbished colonial home is located about 30 minutes from Galle in the coastal town of Ahangama within close proximity to world class surf breaks and Sri Lanka’s famed stilt fisherman.

The villa is made up of two buildings. The main house has 4 en-suite bedrooms, open plan sitting and kitchen area, a small separate seating area for the satellite TV and a wide covered terrace where the main dining table is situated. On the other side oif the pool, closer to the main entrance, is the second building - the pool house - with a further 2 en-suite bedrooms, small sitting area and galley kitchen.

Wijaya Giri is completed by the experienced house manager and house keeper/cook to ensure you have all you need.

A tremendous villa for a family holiday, we had an amazing time thanks to the team of 4 staff and the facilities of the property. The villa was very clean, wonderful interiors and a superb outside space for the kids to play. However, the main attraction of the villa is the warmth of the team, the food was exceptional (especially the pineapple, potato and prawn curries) and they couldn.t do enough to support us with the kids and ideas of where to go around the area. We will be back.

Great villa for families to share. We really enjoyed our stay. The villa is extremely relaxing and comfortable. Can easily fit 2 families and possibly 3 if you wanted. The staff is accommodating and friendly and helpful with requests. The chef cooks amazing local and foreign cuisine. The location is a short drive to the beach but and also extremely peaceful and quiet. Will definitely visit again!

We spent a week at the villa and it was just perfect. The place is clean and really well kept. It’s close to the main road and the surrounding villages, but yet nicely hidden away behind a high wall (+ a guard during nighttime), so that you can have peace and privacy. Our rooms were really nice with good air conditioning, spacious bathrooms and super-comfortable beds! Additionally, the villa has a beautiful terrace with a long dining table and a truly luxurious pool. However, the best aspect of the villa is definitely the house manager Lal and the rest of the team! They were so warm and welcoming during our whole visit. We’re going to miss you! Also the food the house staff made was really, really good. Better than in any of the restaurants we went to! All in all, highly recommended!

We have just returned from spending Christmas in this amazing villa. The Villa is spacious and beautifully decorated. All the rooms have ensuite - and the kids LOVED their room and the pool ! The location is perfect - easy to get to lots of surf beaches. The best part of our visit was Lal ( the house manager ) and his amazing team. They looked after us so well and really made us feel like part of the family ! We were so sad to leave them ( especially my 7 year old - who had a special bond with Ru - the chef ) - there were tears when we left ! I would completely recommend this place and Villas in Sri Lanka - who made everything very easy to book etc.. Thanks again for having us ! and making our holiday so memorable ! We can't wait to go back one day !
