One of the world's great luxury villas. Palatial proportions with vast bedrooms and bathrooms. Alfresco dining on the expansive terrace with the sound of the Indian Ocean crashing on the nearby rocks. Wonderful staff at a higher ratio than any five star villa i have stayed in.

Indisch is brilliantly located not far from Galle and close to some of the best beaches such as Marissa and Wajiya. Its feels colossal when staying there, so much room with plenty of places to chill. A huge pool down to its own beach. Staff were fabulous.

Divine Villa, pool was lovely and loved watching the forever changing swell out the front! Staff were warm and friendly!

Indisch is truly a luxurious haven! We were awed by the proportions of the villa and pleased by how at home we felt.

Not enough can be said about the villa staff, who cater to every need and who do so with grace and style.

This villa definitely deserves a repeat visit… hopefully soon!

Indisch was beautiful with very spacious rooms, good food, great setting and a wonderful staff. I would go back in a minute.

I had the most wonderful week at Indisch - just everything was really beautiful.
The staff were all quite amazing and took such great care of us all, including the two little girls who were part of our party.
The food was delicious - we opted for Sri Lankan dinners every night and it was all beautifully served and so very good!
The house and the accommodation were superb and again, the serice was just fantastic - impecable - nothing seemed to be too much trouble for anyone. We were all truly spoiled and we loved it all!!

If I could just add one thing - I had Room No5 - a smaller double room - it was lovely, but there was absolutely nowhere to hang anything. A big cupboard with shelves, but not a hook or a coat rail anywhere. This is a bit of a problem for most women and I do think you need to look at installing something to accommodate the hanging of clothes. It was not a problem as the Manager very happily found me a lot of coathangers and I was able to hang my clothes in the bathroom on the towel rail!!

A real treasure and a very beautiful country too!

Simply the perfect get away! Our stay at Indisch was exactly what our family needed. After being trapped in Cairo during the Lotus Revolution for 4 days, we needed a beautiful and serene place to recover where we could get pampered and relax while enjoying the wonderful Sri Lanken culture. The staff at Villa Indisch is world class - second to none - tending to our every desire and even anticipating what we might need… just stellar. The setting on the Indian Ocean is beautiful and the accommodations are lovely. We will be back!

Wonderful stay. 5 stars

Villa Indisch has been the best holiday experience we had in the last years among a few 5-6 star places in Asia. You are not treated as a guest, but as a family member. If you like this wonderful island, the food, the culture, the people, this is proberbly the best "business card" of Sri Lanka in terms of holiday you will find. The facility is stunning. The owners really put a lot of efforts into it, making it a wonderful place to stay, with a rare seen attention to detail in Asia. The maintenance and cleanliness of the Villa Indisch deserves fullest appreciation. But what would be any place without its people!?
The team of Villa Indisch is a the best, most attentive, friendly and creative team of "happy makers" we ever wittnessed. Chef Ajith turns around anything you want in the kitchen, with skill and perfection you hardly see in Sri Lanka. The presentation of food being handeled by Sahan is simply lovely. But also the rest of the team managed by Wijay never gets tired to contribute their best to make it an unforgettable experience. For sure the area is not the most vibrant place to be, but if you want to have your peace and privacy, balance your mind at Indisch! You will not regret it. We will be back soon…

Best place to stay on the south coast. Lovely staff and gorgeous property. My kids were snorkeling on the beach everyday and enjoyed the pool every evening. My daughter says Indisch is her dream house!

Villa Indisch is amazing. It is certainly the best holiday Villa we have ever had and provided one of the best holidays we have ever been on. The food was exceptional. There is no better food in the area. We tried eating out a few times, failed to find anything worth eating and were always glad to get back to our "home" cooking.The service from the is staff polite and efficient but good fun. Always behind the serious face was a big smile just waiting to burst out if looked for.
The Villa was immaculate and kept that way by constant but unobtrusive cleaning and maintenance. The grounds were kept that way also. Mr V.J., the Villa Manager is the perfect "fixer" for anything you need and a superb driver in what can only be described as difficult driving conditions.
We have apolicy of never going back anywhere, but it is being sorely tested this time!

My family and a good friend's family stayed at Villa Indisch in January 2011. Both of our families have travelled extensively, and have stayed at some of the best hotels in the world.

I can say without question that Villa Indisch is a villa with the quality/service levels that met our expectations, and was far superior to many of the 5-star rated hotels in Sri Lanka. It is a great place for either families (pool/playground and space for kids to run around)or a group of adults (very stylish place to relax/enjoy a few sundowners).

All in all - highly recommended.

We loved our stay at Indisch. The staff were wonderful from the food and service right through to playing with kids. Sumudu, Ajith and Weje's 2 kids ( Sandu and Sangeeth - I think I have that right) really added to our overall enjoyment. We wouldn't have any hesitation in recommending Indisch to anyone visiting Sri Lanka.

We loved everything about Indisch………………..a stunning place, beautiful location, superb staff, delicious food. We really enjoyed our week there and would have happily stayed another week. Thank you to all the wonderful people who work there and made our stay so enjoyable. We would love to return.

We had the most incredible stay at Indisch. It is a lovely villa, the food is wonderful but it is the staff which really made it for us. They were fabulous and because of them we would most definitely go back. It was lovely the villa had a tiny little beach to walk along with the children and the playground was useful too. The bedrooms and bathrooms were very comfortable and it was all kept beautifully.

Stayed at Indisch with family and friends. Everything about it was perfect. The place, the staff the food . Will return .

Excellent place to stay, Indisch is a beautiful villa in great surroundings. However, what really made the stay special were the wondeful team of people, the food was amazing and the service exceptional.

This was our first time renting a luxury villa in Sri Lanka and we were all very impressed. The location was great, with easy access to the various beaches in the area… It was the villa staff, however, that really elevated the standard of the whole experience for us. Wije, Ajith, Sangeeth and the rest of the team really took great care of us, five stars all the way. We'd recommend Indisch without hesitation!

Indisch was faultless - excellent!

Our holiday was nothing short of fabulous at Indisch!!! From the moment we arrived we were treated like royalty. Indisch, is all that the pictures describe it to be and more. Sangeeth the butler was attentive to all our needs, a big thumbs up for him and his team. The Chef also made a huge effort to make sure that everyones food requirements were fulfilled. Truly a holiday that must be made again.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Indisch! The place itself is beautiful, light filled and spacious. The staff were welcoming and pleasant to be around, very helpful throughout our stay.

Our wedding ceremony went along seamlessly at Indisch and we couldn't have been happier with how it turned out.
