Details

A three bedroom, Geoffrey Bawa designed cliff top pavilion that offers breath-taking views across Weligama Bay and beyond. The villa consists of a master bedroom suite with a view and a double and twin below.  The frame and furnishing of this villa has been stripped back to its simplest form so that the prime position and astonishing panorama do all the talking. Steps lead you down to an exclusive private beach, which is a barefoot luxury of its own.

This Geoffrey Bawa - designed villa is truly special. There are living and dining areas in the open-plan, semi-al fresco common area at the front of the house, where you can just spend time, reading, eating or just being mesmerised by the view. There's also a huge lawn to run around on, or just chill in the pool which overlooks the ocean. We loved the lush garden and how the coconut trees framed every scene. Guests can also retreat indoors towards the back of the house, where the 3 bedrooms are split, with the master and ensuite upstairs, while the remaining 2 bedrooms, bathrooms, living area and pantry are located downstairs. The villa comes with a chef and service staff. Local meals and seafood platters here are magnificent. You will feast like kings and queens! Also love that the exclusive hilltop location is just 5 mins away from Mirissa Beach.

Red cliff is a wonder, set on the head land between Weligama bay and Mirrisa Harbour, pointing out to sea. Everywhere you sit there is an amazing view to take in. The house is done by famous Sri Lankan architect Geoffrey Bawa. The living area is all open and comfortable. A fantastic place to waste away the time. Close enough though to enjoy the beaches of Mirrisa and Weligama
