Opening the large wooden gates stepping into the tropical garden of the Rice House feels like entering the premises of a converted colonial planters house, perfectly located in front of expansive rice paddy fields. This characterful house comes with high wooden ceilings & king trusses, terra cotta tiles on the floor, antique doors and windows & carefully hand picked antiques & collectibles.
There are 5 bedroom suites in this beautiful villa. 4 are in the main house whilst a 5th (a king size bed + bunk beds) is set slightly apart and accessed from the garden.
In the house the bed configuration is two king suites, 1 queen and 1 twin. Each bedroom also has a day bed that can be made up in to a single bed suitable for a small child.
There are two verandas. Between these is the living room where you can just relax or watch tv or let the kids play with the x-box while lying on a few beanbags.
In the garden you will find an infinity pool alongside the rice paddy field surrounded by lush greenery and gently swaying palm trees. The pool deck with sun beds overlooks the rice paddy fields where the different green tones of the planted rice changes colour constantly.
The chef leads a team of house staff for whom nothing is too much.
