Ocean View House

Details

Perched high on a headland this modern house is designed to take full advantage of the south westerly ocean views and outdoor living.

The two 3m wide entry doors open up the north wall of the house and the ocean view doors slide and stack open offering the living spaces to the breeze of the ocean. There is a sunken lounge and galley kitchen that make up the soul of the house either side of which are the bedrooms. Living, dining, cooking (if you want to), and relaxing are all in open space.

There are three bedrooms (two with a king size bed and a single bed in each) all with king size four poster beds. One bedroom has an ensuite bathroom and the others share a bathroom. All bedrooms have sliding or pivot timber shutters that open to the garden and ocean views.

The slope is quite steep and steps lead down to the pool. At the bottom of the garden is a wild and rocky shoreline and there is a 3km long sandy beach about 5min walk down the north side of the headland.
